This is an in-depth introduction to Photoshop CS5 for photographers. You will learn the most commonly used commands and techniques to improve images and also how to utilize some of the more creative effects. This course will be of more benefit to you if you have access to a computer with Photoshop inside and outside of the class in order to practice the skills you will learn.

  • Resolution, Image Size and Printing :

Understanding Resolution which is the measurement of the output quality of an image, usually in terms of samples, pixels, dots, or lines per inch. The terminology varies according to the intended output device. PPI (pixels per inch) refers to screen resolution, DPI (dots per inch) refers to print resolution. What is (hi-res) or (low-res).
